Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to apply chemicals safely.
• Working knowledge of cleaning tools like vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
• 0-1 year related experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in alignment with infection control guidelines.
• Completes waste stream removal.
• Cleans and services assigned areas according to procedures.
• Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies while maintaining a neat, sanitary hospital environment.
• Operates floor machines and buffers as directed.
• Participates in unit/department meetings.
• Maintains cleanliness of patient and non-patient areas at all times.
