Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Full-time Security Dispatch Operator to monitor CAD systems and coordinate security responses for SJMHS Hospital facilities in Chelsea, Livingston, Brighton, Canton, and Ann Arbor. You will log calls, document dispositions, and support inter-departmental communications with hospital staff.

The role requires experience in call centers or security dispatch, strong multi-tasking, and excellent English communication in high-stress situations.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent.
• 2-3 years of computer experience.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Previous Call Center, Operator Console and/or Security Dispatch experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a computer aided dispatch system (CAD) and monitor progress of calls and dispatch units to SJMHS Hospital facilities; Chelsea, Livingston, Brighton, Canton, and Ann Arbor facilities.
• Interviews callers to obtain preliminary report of incident, criminal activity, fire, medical emergency, or other emergency, to properly respond and dispatch appropriate assistance.
• Provide assistance to Security units by delivering information via name checks, I-Track, Employee Identification, Parking Permits, and inter‑departmental communication.
• Respond to disaster alerts and coordinate appropriate personnel for response including emergency incident command activation.
• Monitor CCTV and alarms across multiple hospital locations and dispatch security responses as needed.
