Qualifications

• Previous switchboard experience in healthcare setting.
• Answering service experience or answering phones at large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls into the hospital's main telephone number and physician's answering service.
• Provide in-person visitor information, reception, and paging.
• Coordinate all emergency communications including Trauma Codes, Codes 4, NICU, Codes Red, Codes Blue, Codes Yellows, Codes 900, and Helicopter Landing.
• Monitor hospital alarm panels; handle all fire and disaster drills and operate hospital two-way radios.
