MercyOne Dubuque is seeking an Electrician Phone Technician to maintain, repair, and install electrical systems across hospital facilities. This role monitors telecommunications equipment, troubleshoots issues, and ensures safety and reliability in clinical and support areas.

Applicants should have a Iowa electrical license or equivalent experience, strong diagnostic skills, and proficiency with MS Office. A valid driver’s license is required, with a day shift and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

State of Iowa Electrical License or 5 years of equivalent experience and education.
Must have working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have skills needed for all electrical maintenance and repairs.
Must be able to interpret basic schematics, wiring diagrams, illustrated electrical drawings, and blueprints.
Must have analytical ability to determine cause of and repair electrical equipment malfunctions.
Must be able to use multi-meters, insulation testers, and ampere meters.
Knowledge of transfer switches, tie breakers, generators, and other components in large electrical distribution systems.

Responsabilités

Maintain, repair, and install electrical equipment in the hospital, buildings, and grounds.
Monitor telecommunications data/voice operations to identify and solve problems.
Provide timely equipment repair on assigned service calls and PMs.
Document work accurately and maintain SOPs.
Interact with vendors and carriers to resolve issues.
Assist clinical staff with safety and de-escalation as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
