Job summary

Freeman in Joplin, MO is seeking a full-time dishwasher to maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen area, operate the dish machine, and return clean items to storage. You will follow food-safety and workplace-safety procedures to ensure a safe, efficient environment.

Responsibilities include stocking and transporting supplies and supporting Nutrition Services duties as assigned. Expect a fast-paced setting with heat, steam and occasional noise; prior dishwashing experience is helpful but on-the-job

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, trays, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Operate the dish machine and use the three-compartment sink as required.
• Return clean items to proper storage and service areas.
• Clean and sanitize the dish room, kitchen floors, carts, equipment and work areas.
• Remove trash and cardboard and keep disposal areas orderly.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation and workplace-safety procedures.
• Assist with stocking, transporting supplies and other Nutrition Services duties as assigned.
