Job summary

Q39 LSMO in Lees Summit, MO is seeking a Dishwasher to support the kitchen by keeping dishware, utensils, and equipment clean and sanitized, ensuring a steady flow of kitchen essentials and upholding cleanliness standards.

You will follow safety procedures, assist during peak hours, and work with the team to maintain organized, safe work areas and prepare the kitchen for the next shift.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
• Team-oriented mindset with clear, professional communication.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Dish & Utensil Cleanliness – Ensure all plates, utensils, pans, and smallwares are thoroughly washed, sanitized, and returned to service in a timely manner.
• Equipment Operation & Care – Safely operate dish machine and cleaning equipment while following proper chemical handling procedures.
• Kitchen Support – Assist HOH by providing clean pans, utensils, and trays quickly to keep service flowing, especially during peak hours.
• Organization & Storage – Maintain order in dish area, properly stacking clean wares and organizing storage areas for efficiency and safety.
• Waste Management, Sanitation & Safety Standards – Empty trash as needed and maintain cleanliness of waste stations. Follow health code and restaurant guidelines for cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and keeping work areas free of hazards.
• End-of-Shift Duties – Complete final breakdown, cleaning, and sanitizing of dish station, floors, and equipment to set up for the next shift.
