Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation in Cambridge, MA seeks an experienced cook to prepare and cook a wide variety of meals for patients and staff, following recipes and quality standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will complete production records, help manage inventories, and assist with special events, with attention to food safety, cleanliness, and timely service. This Per Diem, day shift role offers onsite work and benefits.

Qualifications

• Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience: 5-7 years in cook/food preparation roles.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to prepare and bake a variety of foods and pastries.

Responsabilités

• Receives ingredients and supplies for daily operations.
• Reviews production schedule to determine food requirements.
• Prepares and displays a wide variety of foods per recipes using various methods.
• Completes production sheets and other records as required.
• Maintains clean work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Attends to day-to-day problems concerning equipment and supplies; assists with special events.
