Nantucket Cottage Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, seeks a per diem Cook/MSA to prepare meals for contract and in-house service. You will follow established menus, ensure food safety, and support dietary needs while maintaining high-quality presentation for patients.

The role requires the ability to work day shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods. Experience in healthcare food service and ServSafe is preferred but not mandatory if training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Allergen Awareness Certification required within 3 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Prepare meals per planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure meals are served on time and maintain portion control.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen conditions and HACCP compliance.
• Assist in inventory and food storage as needed.
• Perform daily cleaning and equipment upkeep.
