Sodexo is hiring a Cook for University Hospitals Geneva Medical Center. The role involves preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and cold foods across meal periods, following safety and quality standards.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen and contribute to a positive dining experience for patients and staff. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 0–2 years’ experience, and the ability to read and follow recipes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, portion, cook and present hot and cold foods for all meal periods and events in accordance with Sodexo’s standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Support kitchen teamwork and uphold highest standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Duties may vary by account and client requirements.
