Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ seeks a Chief Operating Officer to lead day-to-day operations across all service lines. You will drive patient flow, quality, safety, and patient experience while partnering with clinical leadership to achieve financial and operational goals.

The role requires 10–15 years of healthcare leadership, experience in large systems, and an advanced degree (MBA/MHA).

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive leadership in healthcare operations.
• Experience in large complex hospitals or academic medical centers preferred.
• Proven track record of top-decile performance.
• Experience in tertiary or quaternary care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations across inpatient, outpatient, procedural, and ancillary services.
• Lead initiatives to improve patient flow, throughput, access, and capacity management.
• Build a culture of safety, reliability, and continuous improvement with data dashboards.
• Oversee budget, capital planning, and resource allocation in partnership with Finance.
