Responsibilities

• Professionally and courteously answer all incoming calls, routing them to the appropriate department or individual.
• Provide general information about the hospital, such as visiting hours, location, and services.
• Accurately record and relay messages to hospital staff in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergencies and code calls, coordinating with the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed records of all calls, messages, and communication activities.
• Assist callers in distress with empathy and professionalism.
• Use hospital communication systems (telephone, paging, intercom) and troubleshoot issues.
• Adhere to HIPAA and hospital policies to ensure confidentiality.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns.
