Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Hospital Educator to plan, develop, and coordinate in-service education for all staff. You will collaborate with hospital leadership, coordinate clinical rotations, and serve as a knowledge hub shaping educational programs across departments.

The role emphasizes coordinating certifications, managing training equipment, and ensuring compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active clinical license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Preferred: Previous experience as an Educator.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, or nights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff completion of BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Manage equipment and skills stations for BLS and ACLS training.
• Coordinate clinical rotations and student orientation packets.
• Lead staff training for new hire orientation and hospital orientation.
• Coordinate preceptor program.
• Implement new competencies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
