Job summary

Encompass Health in Virginia seeks a Hospital Clinical Educator to plan, develop, and coordinate in-service education for all staff, and to partner with local schools on clinical rotations. You will collaborate with hospital leadership to assess educational needs, strategize training plans, and contribute to policy development and equipment integration.

Qualifications

• Active clinical license required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Previous experience as an educator preferred.
• Ability to work across varying shifts including days/evenings/nights.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff completion of BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Manage equipment and skills stations for BLS/ACLS training.
• Coordinate clinical rotations and student orientation materials.
• Train staff in new hire orientation and hospital orientation.
• Assist with staff training and preceptor program coordination.
• Support implementation of new competencies and equipment.
• Provide education on compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Ensure Joint Commission and regulatory training requirements are met.
