Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an evening facilities associate to ensure the safety and cleanliness of our hospital environments. Tasks include floor care, dusting, restroom sanitation, waste handling, and event setup to support patient care and operations.

The role requires strong organization, teamwork, and reliable communication while operating cleaning equipment and coordinating with building staff to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• 2-3 years of experience with hospital cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Strong organization, teamwork, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wax, strip and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Clean walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows and fixtures.
• Empty, clean and sanitize waste receptacles.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms; replenish supplies.
• Picks up debris around building.
• Operate high/low speed stripping/buffing machines.
• Set up tables and equipment for events and activities.
• Identify and report building maintenance needs.
