UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a skilled Maintenance Foreman to lead our Carpentry Shop. The role requires a minimum of three years journeyman level experience across multiple trades, with proven leadership in healthcare environments.

You will supervise carpenters, manage work orders, and oversee preventative maintenance and repairs to facility interiors, ensuring safety and high-quality workmanship. This full-time position is based at the Dallas campus with day shift hours.

Competenze

• Minimum of three years journeyman level experience in multiple skilled trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC) preferably in healthcare settings.
• Proven leadership and mentorship experience.
• Strong commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship.

Mansioni

• Assist and lead assigned crew members in resolving work-related problems.
• Coordinate work activities with management, engineering, quality control, customers, and co-workers.
• Inspect systems (HVAC, utilities) to determine installation, service, or repair needs.
• Recommend personnel actions including evaluations, promotions, transfers, or disciplinary measures.
• Order materials, tools, and parts for work activities.
• Train workers in procedures and use of equipment and drawings.
• Ensure quality and quantity of work meets standards; ensure client satisfaction.
• Perform duties of crew member when necessary.
• Replace supervisor in absence as instructed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
