Adventist HealthCare’s Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, MD seeks a Building Engineer II to join our facilities team. You will perform daily maintenance, handle preventive tasks, and operate HVAC, electrical, and pneumatic systems while documenting work orders.

Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, executing repairs, and coordinating with supervisors for scheduling. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 3 years’ related experience, and relevant certifications or

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years’ experience in mechanical/general contractor or hospital service environment.
• Candidate should have or obtain ASHE 6040 and ASHE Health Care Physical Environment Worker within specified timelines.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily routine maintenance throughout the assigned area.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on equipment, buildings, and facilities with proper documentation.
• Operate and maintain HVAC, electrical, and pneumatic tube systems; document maintenance activities.
• Identify malfunctions and repair components; report serious issues to supervisor.
• Collaborate with team to meet department safety policies and SOPs.
