Job summary

White Oak Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, seeks a Building Engineer II to handle daily maintenance across building services and oversee HVAC, electrical systems, and pneumatic tubes. You'll document work in the service request system and ensure safety SOPs are followed.

The role requires at least three years in a mechanical or hospital service setting and a valid driver’s license, with several preferred professional certifications. Evening shift with weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience working in a mechanical or general contractor, or hospital service environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification or equivalent HVAC/electrical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily routine maintenance.
• Maintains HVAC and electrical systems.
• Documents maintenance activity and work orders.
• Operates Pneumatic tube systems and related equipment.
• Assesses malfunctions and repairs or replaces components.
