Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to perform preventive and reactive maintenance across two hospital campuses in Rowlett, TX on the 1st shift. You will work on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems while delivering strong customer service and ensuring safe, reliable operations.

The role supports a large campus with emphasis on compliance, energy management, and proactive maintenance, reporting to the Engineering and Technical Services function. Prior shift leadership experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred.
• Certifications/licenses as required by local or state jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire life safety, and control systems.
• Comply with applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program to ensure efficient operation of systems.
• Assist in implementing preventive maintenance and conduct emergency repairs as needed.
• Maintain safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
