Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of hospital boiler plant and mechanical systems.
• Schedule boiler plant staff for 24/7 coverage, including nights and weekends.
• Maintain regulatory records, inspections, and testing logs to ensure compliance.
• Maintain training logs and ensure certifications and ongoing education.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance for boilers, pumps, valves, and related systems.
• Inspect systems daily (Boiler, Steam Distribution, Chiller, CSR).
• Respond to plant emergencies and operational alarms promptly.
• Support capital planning, system upgrades, and energy management initiatives.
• Review work orders and ensure quality of completed work.
• Be available 24/7 for boiler room emergencies.
