Vitalant is seeking a Hospital Distribution Technician to support hospitals and healthcare facilities by processing orders, preparing blood products, and ensuring precise inventory and documentation. The role emphasizes accuracy, patient safety, and timely service in a fast-paced, regulated healthcare setting.

You will interact with drivers, hospital staff and team members while following established procedures and contributing to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to accurately enter and review information using computer systems.

Responsabilités

• Receive, process and confirm routine and urgent blood product orders from hospitals and healthcare facilities, providing professional customer service.
• Select, verify, prepare, package and distribute blood products with high accuracy and patient safety.
• Monitor, store, rotate and track blood product inventory and supplies with accurate records.
• Use computer systems to process orders, document transactions and manage inventory.
• Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and temperature-control requirements in a regulated healthcare environment.
• Collaborate with drivers, couriers, hospital staff and team members to manage priorities and deliver blood products when needed.
