Shepeard Community Blood Center seeks a Hospital Services Manager in Augusta, GA to oversee storage, inventory, and delivery of blood products to hospital partners. You will lead a distribution team, coordinate schedules, and ensure compliance with industry guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience with demonstrated success leading teams and achieving goals.

• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of blood components.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels to meet hospital needs while minimizing waste.
• Coordinate efficient delivery schedules and routes for hospital customers.
• Partner with courier services and third-party vendors for timely deliveries.
• Ensure all products are stored, handled, and transported per FDA, AABB, and guidelines.
• Lead and coach distribution staff including training and evaluations.
• Serve as main liaison between the center and hospital blood banks.
• Prepare usage reports and provide inventory data to partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
