Job summary

Shepeard Community Blood Center seeks a Hospital Services Manager to oversee blood component storage, inventory control, and distribution to hospital partners across the region.

You will lead a distribution team, ensure timely deliveries, maintain compliance with FDA/AABB guidelines, and generate inventory reports for customers, driving efficiency and reducing waste in a high-impact healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience with proven team leadership.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of blood components.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels to meet hospital needs and minimize waste.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and transportation routes for hospital customers.
• Partner with courier services and third-party vendors for timely deliveries.
• Ensure compliant handling and transport per FDA, AABB, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Be primary liaison between Shepeard and hospital blood banks.
• Prepare usage reports and inventory data for partners.
