Beth Israel Lahey Health, Inc. is seeking a Patient Financial Services Representative - Hospital Billing to ensure accurate and timely billing and collections across inpatient and outpatient accounts in a large multi-facility system.

This role uses the Epic Hospital Billing System, handles follow-up, denial management, and payer communications to maximize reimbursement while maintaining compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma / GED Required
• Experience: At least two (2) years AR/Billing experience required
• Licensure, Certification & Registration: None Required

Responsibilities

• Uses the Epic Hospital Billing System to review accounts in Billing, Denial, & Follow-Up queues.
• Work assigned outstanding and denied accounts while meeting productivity requirements.
• Contact insurance carriers or other responsible parties to confirm payment dates or why a claim was denied.
• Perform Hospital Billing, Follow Up, and Denial activities to obtain payment or resolution of claims.
• Review accounts to ensure proper billing, correct payments, and appropriate adjustments before moving to next party.
