Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 3 years of customer service experience.
• 1 year in hospital-related billing, claims follow-up, or hospital coding.
• Experience in patient accounting systems and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with billing/insurance/charge/referral questions to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Hospital, Professional, and Home Health Billing Teams to resolve issues and identify trends.
• Support SBO environment with knowledge of Hospital, Professional, and Home Health Billing.
• Collaborate with Cash team to resolve unapplied cash, payment plans, and cosmetic services.
• Train and support Epic; serve as department Super User and liaise with Instructional Design Team.
