Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking an Armed Security Officer to patrol hospital facilities, deter crime, and protect patients, associates and visitors. You will respond to codes, conduct incident reports, and coordinate with supervisors while rotating across facilities as needed.

The role requires minimum two years armed security, active Texas license, and completion of training in de-escalation and safety procedures within 60 days. Expect physical demands and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent required.
• Minimum two (2) years of armed security experience preferred.
• Verbal De-escalation training must be completed within 60 days of hire.
• BLS required within 60 days of hire.
• Active TD DPS Level 3 security commission required for Texas positions.
• Pre-employment assessments incl. MMPI-2/RF, CPI, PPSSR, PEI and a clinical interview.

Responsibilities
