Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking an Armed Security Officer to protect patients, associates, and visitors across hospital campuses. Responsibilities include patrolling facilities, responding to emergencies, and enforcing policies to deter crime.

You must be physically fit and able to rotate between facilities, with required trainings and prompt incident reporting. Occasional travel between sites may be necessary to maintain security across campuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• Armed security experience preferred or military service may substitute.
• Must be physically fit and able to handle potentially dangerous situations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts frequent security patrols of facilities and grounds.
• Identifies and reports trends related to security issues and recommends actions.
• Prepares incident reports with factual, timely, and precise information.
