Qualifications

• Fully knowledgeable of HIPAA rules and regulations and billing/compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of AHS managed care payer rules.

Responsibilities

• Review outstanding accounts for assigned payer and take action to resolve payment issues.
• Collaborate with Billing Coordinator to ensure initial claims are submitted correctly.
• Respond to inquiries related to hospital claims and account processing; appeal denials when needed.
