Guidehouse is seeking a Hospital Admissions Representative for a swing shift onsite in the Los Angeles area. The role involves obtaining and verifying demographic and insurance details, assigning the correct medical record, and ensuring accurate billing and clinical information.» The position is full-time with shifts 1:00 PM–9:30 PM, alternating weekends and rotating holidays.

Strong data-entry and MS Office skills, a high school diploma, and 0–1 year in a medical or customer service setting are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in medical setting or heavy customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance processes and data entry applications.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify demographic and financial information from multiple sources.
• Obtain signatures on legal consents and insurance forms.
• Perform pre-certification, credit referral, or deposit collection; document in system.
• Notify patients about insurance coverage issues and co-payments.
• Review physician orders and ensure all information is complete.
• Maintain computer systems and ensure compliance with safety policies.
