Qualifications

• 0-2 years in medical setting or heavy customer service with data entry and insurance systems.
• Ability to type ~35 WPM and use Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify demographic and financial information from patients, physicians, and offices.
• Enter data accurately and document incomplete admissions/registrations.
• Notifies patients of insurance issues, co-pays, deductibles or deposits; obtain signatures and approvals.
• Assist with pre-certifications, referrals, or authorizations and update patient files.
