Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management in St. Louis seeks a marketing admissions professional to grow census and improve the center’s quality mix by providing information and assistance to prospective patients and responsible parties choosing the nursing facility.

You will spend the majority of your time on admissions growth, maintain knowledge of services and physician relations, and collaborate with administrators and department heads to optimize referrals and revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years direct sales experience targeted to physicians, hospital personnel and case managers preferred.
• Proven success in developing referrals from health care target markets.

Responsibilities

• Regularly spends majority of time growing admissions.
• Keeps informed about center products, services, capabilities and physician relations.
• Participates in morning Kick-Off Meeting and coordinates with leadership.
• Meets with Administrator/department heads weekly to discuss marketing issues.
• Chats with nursing staff about clinical service levels and environment quality.
• Understands payer sources and their impact on revenue.
