Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital seeks an Administrative Supervisor to oversee patient flow and off-shift operations in a busy acute care setting. The role emphasizes safe care, staff coordination and leadership presence.

Part-time Days shift with a focus on coordinating resources, ensuring timely admissions and discharges, and upholding Orlando Health standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• 2 years as a registered nurse in the acute care setting required/ preferred.
• Current Florida RN license required.
• National Certification in specialty area within 2 years required.
• Maintains BLS; ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC as required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a clinical resource agent to nursing units and allied health departments for problem solving within a shift.
• Ensures safe and timely patient flow and coordinates intrasystem transfers.
• Performs clinical observation/assessment to determine level of care and placement.
• Oversees staffing resources in coordination with leadership and staffing office.
• Maintains visible leadership presence and responds to emergencies and code events.
• Documents patient census, events and flow outcomes in EHR; supports regulatory compliance.
