Job summary

GSK is seeking a Hospital Senior Account Manager to drive sales in hospital accounts across the Houston/Beaumont region. You will lead an integrated territory plan, engage Infectious Disease physicians, hospitalists, pharmacists, and pharmacy leadership, and secure formulary access to enable product utilization.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, deliver clinical brand presentations, and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities while meeting or exceeding sales

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
• 3+ years calling on hospitals and health systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within assigned geography, including overnight travel.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated business plan.
• Secure formulary wins and translate market access into consistent prescribing.
• Engage hospital stakeholders in clinical discussions to support patient identification and treatment selection.
• Facilitate collaboration with discharge planners, case managers, and pharmacy leadership to support patient access.
• Identify barriers to product adoption and address them with a cross-functional team.
• Plan activities to achieve call metrics and optimize coverage for access growth.
• Deliver clinical brand presentations to physicians and healthcare staff to drive appropriate product utilization.
• Develop in-depth product knowledge and stay informed about local market trends.
