Job summary

GSK is seeking a Hospital Senior Account Manager to advance formulary access, protocol readiness, discharge pathways, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts. You will engage Infectious Disease physicians and hospital staff to drive sales in the US healthcare system and collaborate with cross-functional partners to execute territory plans.

The role requires 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales, hospital account experience, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/medical/biotech industry.
3+ years of experience calling on hospitals and health systems.
Experience with hospital formulary management and antimicrobial stewardship programs.
Willingness to travel up to 50% within assigned geography.

Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated business plan.
Secure hospital formulary wins and translate market access into consistent prescribing.
Engage pharmacy, medical, operational stakeholders in clinical discussions supporting patient care.
Collaborate with discharge planners, case managers, and specialty pharmacy partners to improve access.
Identify barriers to product adoption and drive performance through data-driven plans.
