Job summary

Allied Universal in Columbus, OH is seeking a Security Officer for Hospital Access Control with multiple shifts. The position is full or part time and pays $19.75 per hour.

You will provide customer service, enforce safety and security procedures, and participate in incident response. Responsibilities include patrols and adapting to client site conditions while maintaining a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with laws; drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment; valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; environments may vary by client site.
