Job summary

Allied Universal in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Hospital Access Control to provide reliable, scheduled hours at an assigned site within a healthcare location.

The role features fixed anchor shifts with optional extra shifts via our scheduling platform to boost earnings and gain experience across sites. Pay is $17.00 per hour, with vaccination requirements and a HS diploma essential; CPR preferred and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, providing directions and assistance to patients and visitors as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
