Hospital Authority is seeking a Telephone Operator for Grantham Hospital to manage the hospital's telephone system, answer inquiries, and convey urgent messages to staff. Qualifications

• Passes in 5 HKCEE subjects including English, Chinese and Mathematics, or HKDSE with specified levels.
• Ability to perform typing, word processing and Chinese word processing.
• Experience or preference for hospital admin or clerical work.

Responsibilities

• Operate hospital telephone system and related communications on a 24-hour shift and report during emergencies.
• Answer calls, manage exchange services, and handle internal/external inquiries.
• Convey messages to staff efficiently and maintain call groups and directories.
• Monitor alarms and assist with patient registration, enquiries, and records.
• Assist in handling release of patient information and basic counter services.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
