KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot in Lakeland, FL is hiring a Host to make a great first and last impression for guests in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You will greet guests, manage wait times, seat guests, and assist servers with initial drink orders while answering questions about the menu and KPOT brand.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Provide guests with accurate wait times and manage waitlists.
• Seat guests, provide menus and assist servers with initial drink orders.
• Answer guest questions regarding the menu and KPOT brand.
• Provide information regarding menu, pricing, hours, promotions, and policies.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Observe table turnover and monitor table status.
• Clean and organize the front-of-house and host station.
• Thank guests and invite them to return.
• Inform management of large parties or guest concerns.
• Answer phones professionally and courteously.
• Handle to-go inquiries or direct to team members.
• Ensure paper goods are stocked and restrooms monitored.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, hospitality-focused attitude.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
