Job summary

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot in Colorado Springs is seeking a friendly Host to be the first and last impression for guests in a fast-paced dining environment. You will greet guests, manage wait times, and assist servers with initial drink orders while ensuring a smooth experience from arrival to seating.

The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, communicates clearly, and maintains a hospitable, energetic attitude.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Manage waitlists and provide accurate wait times.
• Seat guests, provide menus, and assist with initial drink orders.
• Answer questions about the menu and KPOT brand.
• Provide information on menu, pricing, hours, promotions, and policies.
• Handle to-go inquiries or direct to appropriate team.
• Ensure front-of-house areas and host station are clean and organized.
• Inform management of large parties, special requests, or guest concerns.
• Answer phones professionally and courteously.
• Monitor restrooms and report issues.
• Maintain a positive, energetic hospitality-focused attitude.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
