KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot in New York is seeking a Host to be the first and last impression for guests. You will greet, seat, and provide menus, helping ensure a smooth and welcoming dining experience in a fast-paced environment.

As a Host, you will answer questions about the menu and KPOT brand, manage waitlists, and support servers with initial drink orders. The role emphasizes hospitality, strong communication, and a positive attitude to help guests feel valued and eager to return.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
• Provide wait times and manage waitlists.
• Seat guests, give menus, and assist with initial drink orders.
• Answer questions about the menu and KPOT brand.
• Share information on menu, pricing, hours, promotions, and policies.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Observe table turnover and monitor cleanliness of tables.
• Maintain front-of-house and host station.
• Thank guests and invite them to return.
• Inform management of large parties or guest concerns.
• Answer phones professionally and courteously.
• Handle to-go inquiries or direct them to the appropriate team.
• Ensure paper goods are stocked and restocked as needed.
• Monitor restrooms and report issues.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, hospitality-focused attitude.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
