Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in nonprofit administration/management, healthcare administration, human services, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in volunteer management, preferably in a healthcare or hospice setting.
• Must have reliable transportation to perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion.
• Must provide proof of automobile insurance and possess a valid driver’s license (copies of which will be placed in the employee’s file).

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and oversight of Volunteer Department staff and volunteers and provides personnel management for assigned volunteer services staff, including hiring, orientation, evaluation, staff productivity and performance improvement, staffing levels and team assignments, and payroll authorization.
