Traditions Health is seeking a CNA to join our Hospice Team in Peoria. The primary function is to act as liaison between hospice and the volunteers regarding patient/family needs and to promote and develop volunteer programs.

The role includes recruiting, training, and coordinating hospice volunteers, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws, and promoting quality of care. Some local travel and presentations are required; competitive benefits are provided.

Formación

• Strong ability to recruit, train, and coordinate hospice volunteers.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal laws related to volunteers.
• Experience in recruiting and managing volunteers preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Recruits, selects, trains and coordinates hospice volunteers.
• Ensures compliance with laws relating to volunteer training and retention.
• Develops the volunteer program in collaboration with IDT and administration.
• Monitors volunteers’ adherence to patient plans of care.
• Carries out other duties as assigned by leadership.
