Job summary

HIA Health in Jamestown, ND is seeking a Part-time Hospice Staff RN/Case Manager to provide nursing care for hospice patients, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team. The role is 0.6 FTE (24 hours/week) and based out of the Jamestown office.

The position offers a robust benefits package and requires a current North Dakota RN license with optional Minnesota license. BSN preferred and 1 year hospital experience or 2 years health care experience are desired.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication, counseling and teaching skills.
• RN degree required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year of hospital staff nurse experience and/or two years in health care.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Hospice Staff RN/Case Manager provides a provision of nursing care to hospice patients in coordination with the interdisciplinary team (IDG) that is consistent with the goals, definitions, philosophy, and purpose of HIA Hospice. All nursing care, as approved by patients’ primary physicians or the hospice medical director, including hospice referrals, patient admissions, physical assessments, symptom management and emotional support.

This position is part-time (0.6 FTE - 24 hours per week), benefit eligible and will be based out of our Jamestown office and serve the surrounding communities.

Pay Range

Starting at $34.67/hour (based on experience)

Qualifications

• Minimum of RN degree; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a hospital staff nurse and/or minimum of two years of experience in health care.
