Job summary

HIA Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a per diem RN to join our hospice team. The nurse will provide direct patient care in coordination with the interdisciplinary team, performing admissions, assessments, symptom management and emotional support for hospice patients.

Based out of the Fargo office, this PRN role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity for monthly bonuses based on performance and standards. A current ND/MN RN license and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• RN license required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year hospital nurse experience or 2+ years healthcare experience.
• Strong interpersonal, counseling, and teaching skills.
• Flexible scheduling; team player.
• Familiarity with dying and death concepts preferred.
• Current ND/MN RN licensure and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to hospice patients in coordination with the interdisciplinary team (IDG).

Position Summary

Provision of nursing care to hospice patients in coordination with the interdisciplinary team (IDG) that is consistent with the goals, definitions, philosophy, and purpose of HIA Hospice. All nursing care, as approved by patients’ primary physicians or the hospice medical director, including hospice referrals, patient admissions, physical assessments, symptom management and emotional support.

This position is a PRN position and will be based out of our Fargo office and serve the surrounding communities.

HIA Health has a Drug Free Workplace Policy. An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment.

Pay Range: Starting at$34.67/hour (based on experience) with additional opportunities for monthly bonus based on performance and standards.

QualificationsQualifications

• Minimum of RN degree; BSN preferred.


• Minimum of one year of experience as a hospital staff nurse and/or minimum of two years of experience in health care.


• Strong interpersonal communication, counseling, and teaching skills
