Mission Healthcare seeks a results-driven Sales Manager to recruit, train, and lead Account Managers across Bakersfield and Kern County. You will develop territory plans, analyze market dynamics, and drive growth while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
• At least three years of experience in healthcare sales management.
• Robust knowledge of referring partner and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor, and grow sales professionals.
• Understands the Federal, State, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing home health and hospice operations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration within a team and with diverse groups.
• Autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in responsibilities.
• Ability to function effectively in a high‑stress environment.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and proactive communication with leadership.
• Previous experience in home health or hospice is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and building a pipeline of potential Account Managers.
• Territory build-out and strategic planning to support growth.
• Reviewing Account Manager performance and conducting Performance Improvement Plans.
• Maintains and expands customer base by mentoring Account Managers and building rapport with top referral sources.
• Leading agency growth meetings, strategic planning, and required trainings.
• Providing leadership in strategic planning, including identifying opportunities for expanded services.
• Sharing financial insights with team and ensuring confidentiality and integrity.
