Job summary

JOL Healthcare is seeking a Hospice RN On-Call to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes and hospice settings during non-business hours.

You will respond to calls, manage symptoms, coordinate with the Interdisciplinary Team, document in the EMR, and support families with education and compassionate care.

This role requires travel locally, crisis management skills, and the ability to work independently while following the hospice philosophy.

Qualifications

• RN license in practice state.
• 2+ years nursing with at least 1 year in hospice/palliative care.
• Crisis management and independent decision-making required.
• Willingness to travel locally during on-call.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient and family calls during on-call hours.
• Provide skilled nursing care and symptom management.
• Assess patient condition and communicate with physicians and team members.
• Coordinate emergency visits and interventions as needed.

Overview:The Hospice RN On-Call Nurse is responsible for providing skilled nursing care and support to hospice patients during non-business hours. This role includes responding to patient and family needs, coordinating care with interdisciplinary team members, and ensuring timely interventions.
