Job summary

Hospice of the Western Reserve, doing business as Reserve Care, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for an inpatient facility in Ohio. The role focuses on providing prescribed medical treatment and personal care to terminally ill patients, coordinating the Plan of Care with a transdisciplinary team, and ensuring compassionate, patient-centered support.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Ohio RN license, have CPR certification, and possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Experience in hospice care, home health, oncology, or pain management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care to terminally ill patients.
• Coordinate the Plan of Care for each patient with the transdisciplinary team.
• Assess physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Monitor pain and symptoms; provide information to manage problems.
• Serve as liaison to physicians and family/caregivers.
• Participate in care conferences, discharge planning and on-call rotation.
