Job summary

Quality Home Health, Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate Hospice RN – Night On-Call to provide skilled nursing care during overnight shifts in Salt Lake County. You will handle telephone triage, urgent nursing visits, and emergent admissions while collaborating with the on-call team.

The role emphasizes independent field work with a dedicated on-call nursing support system, offering a full-time position with benefits and a Monday-to-Monday rotation schedule.

Qualifications

RN license in Utah and active; hospice/end-of-life care experience preferred.
Strong communication and triage skills for after-hours calls.
Ability to work independently and travel within Salt Lake County.

Responsibilities

Respond to after-hours calls, assess needs, and determine if in-person visits are required.
Provide triage guidance and urgent nursing visits for symptom management.
Coordinate admissions and liaise with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
Document all care activities in the EMR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
