Job summary

Suncrest Hospice is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide hospice care across assigned patients and settings. You will perform admissions, patient visits, and on-call duties while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

The RN will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, manage documentation, and travel within the service area. Iowa licensure and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in good standing in state of practice (Iowa)
• One year of licensure experience preferred
• Works well within a team environment with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers
• Able to communicate effectively with patients and families and manage multiple visits

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services for hospice patients in homes, facilities or hospitals
• Complete hospice admissions and patient visits as needed
• Answer calls from patients, families and customers with professional communication
• Perform symptom management visits and admissions; advocate for hospice services
