Gentiva is seeking a RN Executive Director Specialist – Hospice in Columbus, OH to lead multiple hospice sites and act as administrator on call. This role oversees staffing, compliance, patient services, and program quality while ensuring adherence to Medicare and state regulations.

The position requires travel across the region and strategic leadership across markets. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of leadership in healthcare or hospice, an active RN license in the state of residence, and

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current license in the state of residence.
• 3–5 years of leadership or sales/management experience, preferably in hospice or healthcare
• Experience with Medicaid/Medicare regulations and reimbursement
• Strong understanding of hospice operations and regulatory compliance
• Able to work independently and travel frequently
• Effective communicator with strong decision-making and time management skills
• Highly proficient with technology and digital platforms
• Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and commitment to quality care

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Administrator on record at assigned hospice agencies
• Oversee the day-to-day operations including staffing, compliance, patient services, and performance improvement
• Drive clinical quality and ensure services meet Medicare Conditions of Participation, state hospice regulations, and Gentiva standards
• Lead, coach, and support hospice care teams to meet patient-centered goals
• Manage operational budgets with full P&L responsibility
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure smooth transitions and sustainable team performance
• Travel up to 100% throughout the region to provide onsite leadership
