WE'RE OFFERING A $10K SIGN-ON BONUS FOR THIS POSITION!

Executive Director Responsibilities:

As an Executive Director with Gentiva Hospice, you will report directly to our Assistant Vice President of Operations. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of your assigned hospice location, overseeing patient admissions, ancillary services, personnel supervision, and communication with leadership.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Quality Care and Service: Demonstrates commitment through quality focus and continuous improvement.
2. Compliance: Ensures adherence to requirements and standards by accrediting, licensing, and regulatory agencies.
3. Policy Development: Recommends and implements policies and procedures.
4. Human Resources Management: Promotes positive communication, staff training, supervision, and performance evaluations.
5. Operations Management: Plans, organizes, and supervises office and patient care activities, including emergency responses and patient visits.
6. Financial Management: Manages budgets, monitors expenses, and ensures financial objectives are met.

About You

• Education: RN with minimum Associate’s Degree; BSN preferred; Master’s degree in related field preferred.
• Experience: At least one year of management/supervisory experience; hospice/home care experience preferred; clinical and healthcare management experience advantageous.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license, CPR certification, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
• Skills: Proficient in computer and communication tools; reliable transportation.
